Hi Baseball TW,

 

Statin medications, in general, help to reduce cholesterol and benefit people with heart disease. 

 

Statins

 

While these medications are very similar, I suggest checking with your pharmasist to see if one is more effective at a lower dosage (the 80mg vs the 20mg) or is more cost effective either self pay or with prescription drug coverage.
