Q: My husband had a heart attack at 3 a.m. and I am looking for answers.

He had had surgery about a month ago and had a spell of racing heart on the operating table.  The cardiologist put him on amiodorone to level out his irregular heartbeat.  He was doing very well from that, but woke me up at 3 a.m. in the throws of a heart attack which he did not survive.  He was on Gleevec for leukemia, Norvasc for HBP and the amiodorone.  Could any combination of these drugs be responsible for this or could a blood clot have caused this. The ER doctor said it was a heart attack.  I need answers and closure..
