I have had random chest pain that feels kinda like a pinch in my chest and then little spasms. Recently I have been feeling light headed here and there and my right leg ankle and foot and toes have been swollen for a few days. Now I am getting what feels like charlie horses in my foot. I went to the er and was there 6 hours waiting when I left. I was given a steroid for the swelling but after 6 hours without seeing a doctor I left assuming that they obviously thought it was not that serious. I was just wondering if the symptoms could be connected or what???

Hi jkrakora1925,
I encourage you to go back to the ER or to make an appointment with your primary care physician. While I cannot say whether the 2 issues are related, they need to be addressed, diagnosed and treated. Your symptoms could congestive heart failure, blood clots, a heart attack, or any number of other things that should be seen by a physician.
