Q: With a newly implanted pacemaker, why do I still have intermittent atrial fibrillation?

I am 83 years old.  I notice this when I am quiet, just before sleep.  A hard cough or carotid massage will stop it, but it recurs.

Hi Celia,

I recommend you contact your doctors office and either speak with your doctor directly or even his/her nurse to find out if there is reason for concern with these episodes.
