Hi Badelite,
While heart problems are not as common in children and teenagers, they are not unheard of either. Unfortunately, it is difficult to determine what is causing the pain and only a physician can diagnose the issue. Many things can cause chest pain besides heart problems (pneumonia, muscle pain from lifting weights, gas pains, reflux pains, and more). It is important to see your physician to get a diagnosis for your pains and treatment if needed.
Best of luck,
Monica M. Skidmore, MS, RD
