  Salamat,   Thanks for your question.  Symptoms should never be blamed on stress until all other possibilities are considered and ruled out.  In your case, you're having chest discomfort, some numbness, dizziness with a feeling of faintness, and low blood pressure.    Many questions have to be asked and answered before your doctor has an idea of what may be going on.  He'll likely perform an EKG (electrocardiogram) and blood work to screen for many possible causes.  Going to the emergency room was a good idea to be sure you're not having a heart attack or other serious, acute problem.  They are great at ruling these illnesses out, and once this is done, it's up to the patient and their physician to further investigate the symptoms.    I suggest you make an appointment with your physician to get to the bottom of what's going on.  The list of possibilities is quite long and, yes, stress is on that list.  But, again, other medical problems need to be checked out.   Best wishes.   Martin Cane, M.D.
