I have afib and SVT. I was recently prescribed cardizem. I am so scared to take it. I am on coumadin, and xanax also. But, I am afraid of this cardizem. I was prescribed toprol and had a side effect to it. Now, I am afraid I will have an effect from this. Im afraid my heart will stop. Is anyone taking this med and if so...could you tell me your experiences on it. I am so afraid. Thank You.

Here is some information regarding cardizem to keep you informed.
I am not on cardizem, but I have a family member who is. He has not complained of a single side effect. However, medication affects people differently. The only way you will know if it works for you is to try it.
