Q: what is atheromatous aorta

my medical imaging report says: Atheromatous aorta and levoscoliosis, thoracic spine.

 

I am 59, female. My parents and sister both died from heart problems, high blood and diabetes. Thanks

Hi Charly8409,

 

Atheromatous generally refers to swelling within the artery caused by cholesterol fat and various other minerals and connective tissues.
