Saturday, September 04, 2010 greg asks

Q: I have a tingling feeling in my left arm.it goes down my arm into wrist that gets itchy.is this a sign of heart prob.

I'm 43 years old.little over wieght.I have been working longer hours than normal at work.

Hi Greg,

 

Numbness in the left arm is often a symptom of a heart attack. It can also be a symptom of neuropathy, Carpal tunnel syndrome, a stroke and probably more things.  I encourage you to see your physician or go to the emergency room to get an exact diagnosis and rule out anything serious.
