Q: where do I find a heart disease diet?

I have peripheral artery disease and I need a good heart disease diet.

Hi Robert Mann,

 

The key is to watch your intake of sodium (salt) and total fat intake, especially saturated and trans fats. Focus on eating more fresh and home-cooked foods instead of processed food and eat lean meat or meat with the fat cut off, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and low fat or fat free dairy.  Here are 2 links that can give you some great tips and samples.
