Q: I have pain on the right side of my chest and it hurts to take deep breaths.

When I yawn it hurts especially.  I am a healthy 24 year old and just had a physical and everything seemed normal.  The pain is worse when I lay down or bend over.  What could this be?

Hi Angela Hosfield,

You should discuss this with your physician.  It may be heart-related but the symptoms could be related to another condition.  Here is a link to the

Take care,
