Q: pain in my left arm comes and goes for two day now

It's difficult to say with any certainty what the cause of your discomfort is.  It could be a local problem like a bruise, muscular strain, problem of the shoulder or neck, and yes, it could even be your heart.  If your pain is associated with movement of your arm, it most likely, is not related to your heart and more likely due to a local problem.


I suggest you make an appointment with your physician for an evaluation that will include many question, a physical examination, and an electrocardiogram (if your physician feels it is necessary).  Only then will he/she be in a position to determine what the possible causes might be.  Further testing may be required to get to the bottom of things.


Should you experience severe pain in your arm or chest that lasts more than 10 - 15 minutes, I suggest you go to the emergency room for an evaluation.
