Many of the CABG people are diabetic.

The doctors should have gave her pills to help control her cholesterol and high blood pressure. She needs to stop smoking, eat better, and exercise or walk at least 30 minutes for 3 days a week.

Its normal for some people to get fluid around the lungs after surgery, but its normally caused by the person not walking. You gotta walk a lot. At 6 weeks out, she should have been walking about 1 to 2 miles a day.

Wal walk walk, more each day and it gets better.

She will feel pain for several months, its a very long and slow recovery, but she will recover. She will feel noticable better at 3, 6, and 9 months. At 9 months I felt 110 percent.
