Q: My dad has been in afib for at least 4 years. He also has a leaky valve in his heart. His doc wants to do elect cardioversion. Just wondering if its safe with a leaky valve and sleep apnea?

There will be pros and cons to any medical procedure. I recommend discussing this fully with your fathers physician so you can better see how the pros out weigh the cons in the situation (or not).
