Hi, I been having the same type of pain and I have been trying to get answers for almost a year and a half now and im only 17. I have been having sharp pains in whole chest, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right, and sometimes i just have sharp pain just below my left boob and right above my ribs on my left side. I have been to the doctors so many times and everytime i come up empty handed with no answers. They tell me they can't find anything wrong. They have taken xrays, taken my blood, put little pad things on my chest to check my heart, but still, they say nothing is wrong. I just keep thinking to myself it has to be SOMETHING....right? because its not normal to have this kind of pain. Sometimes I can just ignore it and continue doing what im doing, and other times I actually have to stop a conversation and just calm myself down and hold down where it was hurting...although it doesn't help because the pain doesn't hurt on the outside, it hurts inside where I can not do anything about it. Sometimes it hurts so bad all I can do about it is cry. Many times they last different length of time from a couple seconds, 5-10 minutes, even a couple hours. At times it also makes me very upset to where I just want be by myself and just lay down and often times makes me very sleepy. What could this possibly be? please...I have been looking or an answer for the longest time, and I feel like my doctor has given up trying to find out what it could be
