Please post if you find out anything about minerals.  I know exactly what you mean about the "bubble."  Sometimes it also feels like muscle or something is "rolling" over my rib where the pain is the worse.  I've started taking a 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric mixed in 50cc of milk twice a day to help with the inflammation.  A friend also recommended seeing a physical therapist...has anyone found this or massage helpful?  This discussion has been extremely valuable.
