In response to:

i have experienced all the same symptoms since i was a teenager, i used to worry about it but it always went away. found out that my mother has exactly the same thing from the same age! Still get it from time to time, don't dare to breathe as it makes it stab all the more, then wears off in a few minutes. I've lived with it for so long, i think it would have done me some harm by now (i'm now 47) if it had been anything serious.
