Hey all... Although several different issues are being discussed here the pain described is actually a momentarily pinched nerve in the back, creating what's called "referred pain" that presents in a different location than the actual cause and it feels as if the lungs being stabbed by a knife when you breath in due to the spine flexing on inhale and pinching the nerve more. Several patients of mine believed they were having a heart attack. For many people the "kink"can be worked out and immediate releif achieved by repetedly hunching then arching the back and neck and doing twists.
