have a dull tight pain in middle chest and throat. I may have it for a week or 2 then it goes away and comes back about every two weeks now. This has been happening for about 6 years. I have had endoscoy twice, EKG & stress test they were okay. It makes me fill like I need to take deep breaths alot. I am on lisinopril and maxide for blood pressure and estrogen patch. Do you have any ideas. I have been going to LA fitnees 6 days a week for 30 years and my cho;estrol is ok, my HDL is 71. Can you help

Hi Julia: It sounds like you have been worked up pretty extensively. I'd want to know more about the pain, what relieves it, food, activity, etc. if your stress test was a regular stress or a imaging stress study. This might be important.
It might be helpful to get further studies: MRI of chest, lung function tests, etc depending on what the symptoms are that alter this symptom.
Your doctor should be able to answer these questions.
