Is My Chest Pain More Then Stress?

I'm 21 years old and since I was about 6 years old I have had Occasional left chest pain, which makes breatheing near impossible without the pain getting worse. When I was younger it put me in tears, it does still today at times. The pain has become more frequent and seem's to be more towards the middle of my chest, sometimes below and sometime slightly above or along the side of my right side of my left breast. I think it's more then stress which is my family's thought, but what else could it be? And How Serious is it?

Hi Lb_Rockstar,

I recommend contacting your physician for an evaluation to determine the cause of your chest pain.

thank you for your suggestion! My problem is I don't have insurance and there for have no one to ask and I don't have the money to afford any of the possible needed test.... I came to this site hopeing to get a little more insight to my possible situation, so maybe when i do get a chance to see a dr I can ask them a precise question..... Is there any other advice or suggestions you have to offer I look up or into!?!

Well, I do not know if these two apply to you, but you may want to check them out and compare to what you are experiencing.  There are times people confuse heart issues with panic attacks and/or acid reflux issues.
