Monday, July 20, 2009 do i need help asks

Q: heart attack or lung problem?

i have pain on the left side of the rib cage extending to my back same area. i have had this type of pain for the longest time but it leaves immediately. today, even after an hour of taking a baby aspirin the pain still lingers.

i am visiting and hate to have to go to the emergency room.

can i wait on this or is it important to check it out immediately.

i have a stent implanted on right side.

thank you

Hi Do I Need Help,

I recommend contacting your physician via phone to discuss your symptoms and determine action he/she would like you to take.

Have already contacted my physician - and she has given me a prescription for prilosec and scheduled a stress for next week.
