Barb is How are you doing?

06/20/08

Hello & thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

My name is Barbara & I'm 60 years old.  When I was 38 years, I got asthma.  At age 40, I had a heart attack. The doctors gave me a cardiac cath to try & find out why.  They said I had Printz Metal Angina. They gave me a heart attack when  they performed the cath. So, I'm scared of Cardiac Caths!!

At age 45 I found our I had RA & OA. Plus other illness I seemed to get from my Mom & Dad.

When the Cath was done, I was told there was no operation that could  be done to fix Printz Metal Angina, & they put me on several different medicines, including the Mini-Tran Patch & Nitros.

Since then I have had what the doctors call,"Mini-Heart-Attacks."

Now, I have a brand new heart doctor & he wants to do another Cardiac Cath, he says its been 20 years since the last one & I need another one!!

I had my heart attack on a Friday & it took them until Tuesday afternoon to get me stable enough to performed the Cath.. My new doctor said he'd do it in the morning & if everything goes o.k., that I could go home that Night!  I was in the hospital for 11 days when I had my heart attack/cardiac cath..

Here's the question, should I be forced to have this?

I'll wait or your answer & THANK YOU AGAIN,

Barbara
