Q: Nausia and lightheadedness with shortness of breath what is the cause

My Husband has just experienced a vomiting attack with shortness of breath and dizziness, should I be concerned. He is overweight, and has high blood pressure for which he is taking medication. I know his cholestrol is high we are waiting for the results from the tests that were done. His family has a history of heart disease and diabetes.

Hello Charmain,

Sorry to hear about how he felt. Unfortunately it is illegal to make diagnoses over the internet. If this ever happens again please go see a doctor. I understand you must have seen one to get the cholesterol tests done, but you should still go to see them specifically about this if it ever happens again. They will be able to tell you whats going on and may be able to help you out. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We are currently trying to make it more clear on the Ask a Question page that it is not possible for us to diagnose people over the internet.
