My mother in law has been having SEVERE leg pain for several days now, so much so that she is having trouble walking up stairs, and she left work early (which she has NEVER done). She is 82 years old, but seems like she's 62; However, I can tell that she has been in severe pain for the last few days because she has been laying in bed all day, and she says that even when she lays down and elavates her legs it does not help. She also has vericose veins that have been very painful, she has arthritis, and diabetes and her blood sugar has been low. I am very worried about her and she will not let me take her to the hospital. She says the pain has "gone away" now.... Please help inform me about what could be going on so that I can be convinving in my plea to get her to the E.R.
Thank you so much! Rachelle
