Q: Stress causing chest pains?

I recently went unemployed and didn't think it bothered me because I did receive a decent severence package.  So I'm not hurting for money, but I'm worried about not finding employment.  A couple of days into it I started to get chest pains when I breathe.  I went ot the hospital and the ekg and monitor tests came back ok.  They stated that I pulled a muscle.  The pains haven't stopped.  I have had them for about a week off and on.  I would think that if it was a muscle pull, It would be getting better little by little and it isn't that way.

I don't have the pain in the jaw, sweating or anything like that.  I may have the pain in the back, but who knows if I imaging of this now.

Could this be because of stress?  How worried should I be?  I'm 32 years old.
