Q: Low BP following exercise...

I have experienced low BP off/on for past 2 yrs--especially following a.m. workout, or during an afternoon tennis match. My internist has 4x cut my BP meds which I take (for hypertension >140/90), but I've not been experiencing that high in awhile. I have had stress tests, and even the "gold standard" of a heart catheterization, which showed no signs of blockage, etc. Cardiologist suggested the earlier blip on the radar a false positive. I work out 2-3x wk, play tennis 4-5x wk...... and both I & my internist feel I should continue with the exercise. I'm 6-0, wt @ 165 w/bfi approx. 16-18. Diet?  Never been on one.  Eat veggies, fruits, whole grain cereals, fish, chicken, (some potassium-rich because I'm salt-sensitive), & spinach salads, etc., & never smoked.  I continue to monitor readings, before/after exercise, but those in the 90/60 or 84/55 range persist, sometimes randomly during daytime.  Any thoughts? -- dk --
