HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE FOR AN 8CM BLOCKAGE TO OCCUR IN ARTERY?

Topics:Heart Attack

My Dad died in January 2004 from heart attack aged 49.

He had a heart attack in 2002.

In November 2003 he drove himself to hospital complaining of chest pains but the hospital sent him home with 'indegestion'.

2 1/2 months later, in January he died of an 8cm blockage resulting in a fatal heart attack.

Could this blockage have been picked up in November if they ran correct tests, based on the history that he suffered a heart attack in 2002?
