Hi Old Fox,

Plavis is a blood thinner and when it's combined with the heat of a hot tub/jacuzzi your risk for dizziness or nausea are increased since your blood vessels will dilate and blood pressure decrease. I recommend discussing with your physician to determine if you can safely use the jacuzzi in your situation. May simply be a matter of trial and error to see how you respond to the heat or your physician may want to alter your plavix use.

All the best,
