I have been taking Plavix for four months and I've had a rash on both my arms since I started with Plavix. I've also have had symptoms, pains in my chest, shortness of breath, weakness. I went to the hospital got all the necessary testing and it was all negative. Of course I'm very happy all is well, but I still do not feel well and I really believe it is the Plavix! My doctor tells me I will die if I stop the Plavix. There has to be another way, and I hear just taking aspirin will help. Please advise. Thank you.
Q: Can I safely replace Plavix with aspirin?

i don't honestly no i was told from my new doctor the same get offf plavix 3-years ago a doctor put me on plavix an ive never had stints or a head problems,,the other day i had a prostate exam an he took a stool sample an said blood in rectum, who ever put me on plavix was a nutty doctor,come back in august 09 an re-check continue taking my 81-mg aspirin only prey too god that's what it was too much blood thinner when you get your answer please e-mail your answer hediger@yahoo.com thank-you keith
