Q: ABNORMAL ECG

Dear Doctor,

 

I have taken ECG yesterday as a routine check up. The ECG reports indicates ANTERIOR ST ELEVATION, PROBABLY DUE TO LVH......and the following are the numerical values.

Rate  82

PR    144

QRSD  92

QT    364

QTc   426

Is that any thing serious in the ECG report and i want to know what treatment should i proceed? What is the reason for this abnormality and what are the preventive measures should i follow?

 

PREVIOUS HISTORY:

 

Last one year i am taking the tablets of ECOSPRIN 150 MG and STATOR 10 MG and SUPERMET 50 MG.

I am a type 2 Diabetes since last 10 years.( Fasting glucose 160 and Random 190)Last year my doctor prescriped the following medicine for diabetes. Iam also having Hypertension 160/100 and now i am maintaining at the level of 140/90.

I am taking the following medicines for diabetes.

GLUCONORM SR

GLIMER 1 MG

GLUCOBAY 25

 

Please whether i need to continue the medicines or i need to go for some other medicine to take care of Diabetes and Heart Problem.
