I have numbness in my arms, more left than right. I have intermittant chest discomfort - only on the left. It is a mild pain that radiates a little to the back near my shoulder blade. How do I decide if this is serious? I am 52 and 80 lbs over ideal weight.I have been under a lot of stress. I worry constantly about the financial situation of our family business. I am getting ready to go on a trip and worry what will happen when I am gone. These symptoms are worse today - off and on all day. But have been very sporadically occuring for over a month.
