Twice now, for no good reason I have had an attack of dizziness and had to sit down immediately to keep from falling. Is this a sympom of a heart problem? I have high cholestrol but otherwise am in great health at age 71.5

Firstly sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Dizziness can be caused by many things including a loss in blood pressure. I would suggest going to the doctors and asking for a heart stress test (it is easy, they just make you walk on the treadmill for a little while) and they will be able to give you a much better answer than anyone online who couldnt see you in person ever could.
