Q: my caridovascular evaluation showed 55-60% what does that mean what is it telling

been having a high heart rate since my stress/echo my chest hasn't stop hurting and i just got out of hosptial i spent 2 days there my evaluation is 55-60% what does that mean for me

Hi Yolanda:  Generally the pumping function of the heart is 55-60%.  This is normal.  It's called the ejection fraction.  But it's not clear if this is your stress echo ejection fraction or resting heart function.

 

Talk to your doctor to find out more about this test. 

 

As far as your heart rate and chest pain, it would be unlikely for heart disease to cause chest pain this long after a stress test, but your doctor should be able to check this out for you.

 

Don't ignore the pain.
