Aloha Cathy,   Please be open to the possibility that you may not get the advice for your healing from a medical doctor.   If you are ready to empower yourself to make huge changes and build your health, your best advice may come from a Nutritionist, a Naturopath, a Chiropractor or some other type of healer.   If you have been on anti-biotics for a month, your normal bowel flora (the bacteria that you NEED in your gut for normal function) has been harmfully altered.  This WILL result in more symptoms!  If you drug those symptoms it will result in MORE side effects.   I am not bad mouthing western medicine, you need the help of your doctor.  I am just suggesting that you be open to ALL your options, or you may never achieve any real healing.    There is no place for arrogance within the Healing industry.  If your choices are not respected by your health care provider than find a new one.    The term "alternative medicine" is an example of the arrogance that exists in this country, the term "complementary therapies" is a step in the right direction.  Just be aware of the lack of acceptance of legitamate healing arts in this country so that it won't keep you from finding your answers!   Be well, Carrie Tucker Heart Failure Solutions
