Q: Possible sign of heart attack?

y husband (age 53, excellent health, does cardio exercise daily)  suddenly experienced dizziness, followed by heavy perspiring, then vomiting yesterday. He left work (he has not missed a day of work for illness in over 20 years) and slept for 8 hours and then back asleep for another 10. He attempted to go into work today but came right home. No more vomiting, just seems to be general malaise. A relative who is a nurse told me this may be signs of a heart attack (he has not mentioned any chest pain or pressure). Are these symptoms enough to go to an emergency clinic?

YES YES YES.

Goto the emergency right NOW.

Whatever you don't leave him alone, incase he has a heart attack.

Last year I was 39 and in great shape, and I didn't have any chest pains for 2 days, but those 2 days I mostly spent in bed, till I fall to the floor with crazy crushing pain all over my body, I couldn't move an inch or even call for help.

I had a heart attack and then needed a quadruple bypass.

What maybe happening is the artery is clogging up, he will feel only sleepy, but he will feel the chest pain when it completely clogs up, and then it might be too late. Upto 50 percent of people don't survive a heart attack, and even some that do end up living with part of their heart damaged or dead.

Be on the safe side and get him check out.
