Q: burning in chest after sternectomy

Since I had a sternectomy I have had some burning.

I have also had bruises.  I broke a few ribs, when I FELL DOWN.

I had  a mechanical aortic value put in 06/14/2005.

Also one cabg.  Also an aortic anuorism was removed.

After the surgery my chest broke the wires twice.  Then they tried a plate and screws, that also pulled out.  They then did a sternectomy and grafted my stomach and pectorial muscles across my chest. I  had lost over 50 lbs with the surgery since I was in the hospital in icu for 2 months.  Since then I have put the weight back on.

Do you think my weight, could be the problem I have the burning?

I am over 300 lbs now.
