My mother had a triple bypass in January, and now her hearts skips 240 beats an hour.
My mother was rushed to the hospital two weeks ago after her heart started racing - they determined her potassium was low, and also had her follow up with her cardiologist who performed her bypass in January. After an echo and wearing a holter monitor it was determined that her heart skips more than 240 beats an hour. What are the causes and possible treatments - and how serious is this?
