Q: Heart disease runs in my family Mother,father & brother passed away from this. I all sudden got swelling & pain in my shoulder, and both knees swelled with pain in the joints could any be signs heart
While I don't think the swelling is heart related, I think you should see a doctor about it.
BUT, if you have heart disease in your family, you really need to learn more about it and get checked before its to late!!!!!!!
Can you find out from your family members or their doctors what caused their heart troubles???
If I only know that my family has genes that have High Blood pressure and a low HDL Cholesterol level, I could have got checked out at a free clinic, and started taking cheap $4 perscription pills for it, then I wouldn't have had to had a heart attack and open heart surgery before the age of 40.
I dind't know my family had a history, You DO.
