Q: why would i be given lisinopril and hydralazine together for high blood pressure?

Hi Esie,

 

Blood pressure medications perform different functions. For example, some dialate blood vessels, while others block enzymes that cause blood vessel constriction. In many cases it requires more than blood pressure medication to maintain normal blood pressure levels. I recommend discussing with your doctor to ensure your fully understand your treatment plan.
