Thursday, February 24, 2011 VEA1229 asks

Q: I am a heart patient had a heart attack in 07 2 blk 1 clot .

Im hitting the heavy bags pretty intense and grappling until im very out of breath . my triglycerides are 527 and i was just put on niaspan to try lower them . my regular meds are lasix, metprolol, aspirn 325mg, lipitor and nitro . I had my heart attack at 37 in 07 and ive put on 25 lbs since . i just started the gym 3 wks ago . the aches are not like a heart burn they come and go and are more like middle of chest but lower like towards lower part of ribs .....what could this be ? is the workouts bringing it on with my high triglicerides level . or is it angina which i dont think ive ever had , I read about it and they say its not a bad pain and comes befor the heart attack is this true
