Q: The chest pain I've been having, unresponsive to pain killers & anti biotics, ecg normal. what gives?

just a bit worried. it's left sided, non radiating, worse when i lie on my left side, difficult to take deep breaths... chest x ray was normal as well. any one have any clue what this might be? it does seem to be resolving, though-divine intervention, i kid you not!

If it keeps happening you should talk with your doctor. I had a bad experience with that test that it did not pick up on my heart attack. For three days I had severe chest pain and was loaded up on Morphine. Nothing touched the pain except Nitro and once they ruled out heart attack the Nitro was stopped. I had also a echo treadmill and CT Scan, with blood tests. Nothing showed. On the fourth day my blood enzymes finally changed and was given Nitro that took away the pain. I wound up with 7 bypasses. The one true test to show all is a heart catherization. Talk to your doctor about it. Some tests just don't work for some people.
