Q: Symptoms of a heart attack, but no heart attack; all test results are normal?

I experienced several of the "classic" symptoms of a heart attack (dull aching pain in the chest, feeling of pressure in the chest, pain in my arm and neck, shortness of breath, feeling like I'm about to die, sweating, feeling really tired), reported to emergency room, EKG and several blood tests performed, but ruling was "no heart attack". Is it possible to have symptoms of a heart attack, but no heart attack; all test results are normal? Could this be signs of what could be coming? What else should I be checked for?

My husband has the same problems and I can tell you right now that his is not Panic attacks not to scare you but make sure you follow up with your doctor and cardiologist just because you never know and if the problem persist keep on them until they fin out what it is. It could be just angina but it could be somekind of heart disease. We found out that my husband has ASCVD which is a very rare disease and we are still trying to find out how to fix this there has never been any kind of study on this. It is just crazy. He has dialtion of his arteries and is in constant pain. Yours could be as easy as just High blood pressure. Be safe and stick to your guns to find out whats going on . Good luck and God Bless..

I am 56 i have been having these symptoms for 9 years and they are getting worse. i have had all of the test for a heart attack and they all came back normal. a bone doctor place me on prescription strength aleve and flexirall. that help for about 6 months. it really relieve the discomfort. but now i think the symptoms have found away to overcome the medication. it's worsening again. i believe 9 years ago when i was prescribe viox for tendenitise in my elbow, the viox cause me to have these heart attack symptoms. my doctors , i think, dont know what to do about these symptoms. i feel like i am on my own and nothing can be done outside of a miracle.
