Q: numbness in the left arm for a male -- can not grip or hold any object - 2nd occurrance

Although you didn't provide much information, the symptoms you've listed sound pretty serious. How long do these periods of numbness last? If it's for an extended period, I would try to get to a doctor or emergency room while the symptoms are occuring.
Since this has happened multiple times, I would consult with your doctor right away.
