Hi Jane:

Pain related to your heart can present itself in many different ways. Here is a link discussing Heart Attack Symptoms. It does list: Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms. The pain may be mild to intense. It may feel like pressure, tightness, burning, or heavy weight. It may be located in the chest, upper abdomen, neck, jaw, or inside the arms or shoulders.

I recommend you be assessed by a physician as soon as possible. It is always best if you are having any type of new pain and even more so with severe pain to have it assessed.

Take care,

Tara
