Jerry Price,

Thanks for your question.  Chest pain can be a difficult symptom to diagnose.  Patients feel discomfort in different ways.  Because there is a chance this is related to your heart, you should call your doctor for an appointment.  He will ask you several questions as well a performing a physical examination and possibly an electrocardiogram.  Then he will be in the best position to tell you what the problem is, and if further testing is needed.

Also review this website for more information on heart disease and its symptoms.  This will come in handy for your visit with your physician.

Best wishes.
