Q: i have atrial fib and have been having severe pain in my shoulders & right arm. see rest below

I have atrial fibulation and have lately been experiencing severe pain in my shoulders and in my right arm. NO chest discomfort, breathing ok, skin color ok, just very uncomfortable. We have long history of heart attacks in my family (father, both grandfathers) Should I contact my cardiologist or go to ER?

Hi Bobby88,

If you are able to reach your cardiologist via phone I would contact him/her now.  If not, may be best to "play it safe" and head to the ER.

All the best,
