Q: Is there any way to regenerate or alive damage heart muscle ?

My mohter is 62 yrs old, about week back she had a heart attack. As per doctor the heart is functioning to only 20% to 25% to its capacity. The 2D Echo reports says below:

IMPRESSION:

1. ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE.

2. NORMAL DIMENSIONS CARDIAC CHAMBERS

3. GENERALISED LV HYPOKINESIA ..SEPTAL AKINESIA

4. MILD LY THICKENED AV AND MV

5. MILD MR, MILD AR SEVERE TR MILD PR

6. DECRESED LV SYSTOLIC FUNCTION WITH LVEF=25%

7. DIASTOLIC DYSFUNCTION

8. NO CLOT, VEGETATION.

 

I would like to know how serious is the condition of my mother and what precation she need to take.
