    Sharp pain in right chest?

    I am getting a sharp stabbing pain on the right side of my chest. It only lasts a few moments, then goes away. What could it be?

    Hi Laura,

    I suggest you go to the emergency room or see your physician immediately. A sharp pain in the chest can be a symptom of heart attack in women or it could be a symptom of a blood clot or pneumonia.  Only your doctor will be able to give you a diagnosis, even if it is something else completely.  Here are some links that might be useful to you:
