Q: A 13yr. old girl with reoccurring chest pain, doesn't usually hurt with deep breath.

For about 1 month daughter has chest pains sometimes 4-5 a day, sometimes not at all. When it happens- stabbing sharp pain- then it's hard to take a deep breath. She swears her heart stops, or she can hear it clicking , or beeping. She does have a cough right now, it's mild & doesn't always bother her. E.R. doc said it's pluerisy, I don't believe him, doesn't hurt constantly and cough is no issue. She's also very sports active and small.
