Q: Is seven bypasses possible during a heart operation?

Yes. Even more then 7 is possible, tho more then 4 is uncommon.

Plus, there are people that have had a few bypass surgeries over their life time, so they wold even have like totals of 12 or more total bypasses.

 

But the higher the number doesn't really mean they are in worse shape.

A person with fewer bypasses may be in worse shape with more serious blockages.
